However, until that moment, many people did not even know of the existence of this button and limited themselves to always washing the glass attached to the device. No wonder the task is tedious and dirt residue gets stuck in some inaccessible corners. To take advantage of this button on the oven door, you must very carefully loosen the screws at the top and click the two latches to gently remove the glass.

What solution to apply for this cleaning? It’s best to use a powerful duo: baking soda and apple cider vinegar. These two products are suitable for disassembling, cleaning and disinfecting all glass. By combining them, you will get a thick paste. Spread it over the entire surface, rub lightly and leave it to act for a few hours. Then, wipe the glass with a sponge or cloth soaked in vinegar. And there you have it, the trick is done: the oven door will never have been so clean and shiny!

How to clean a very dirty oven door?

Just follow the following steps:

  • The first thing you should do is remove any food debris that has stuck to the glass. To do this, it must be impregnated with a mixture of baking soda and water, which will serve as a natural degreaser. Leave to act for 15 minutes.
  • After this time, rinse the glass with a microfiber cloth moistened with water. Repeat this as many times as necessary, until no trace of baking soda remains.
  • If there is still any residue left, use a scraper to remove it all, but do so very carefully so as not to scratch the glass. Make fluid movements to avoid taking risks.
  • After rinsing, it is important to dry the glass well. If you want to prevent unsightly marks from forming, move the cloth in the same direction, avoiding circular movements. Finally, you can soak the glass surface with a little alcohol to make it shine.
