2. Alcohol, mothballs and cloves

Ingredients:

  • 30 gr. of Naphthalene
  • 100 ml. Detergent or liquid soap
  • 1oo ml. of Alcohol
  • 1 cup of alcohol vinegar
  • 200 ml. of water
  • 20 Cloves

Optional:  A suggestion is if we wish to add coffee to the recipe, although cloves are more powerful.

Preparation and application:

  1. First of all, we place the mothballs, the liquid soap or detergent, as well as the alcohol, the alcohol vinegar in a container and mix everything.
  2. We continue with the addition of water and finally, the cloves.
  3. We stir and let it rest for a while.
  4. To finish, we transfer it to a spray bottle, shake it a little more and spray it in the most prone areas where mosquitoes, flies and cockroaches are.

Another recommendation:

  1. We start by covering a plate with aluminum foil and add the ground coffee on top.
  2. A recommendation is to prepare this homemade method in a cool, dry place.
  3. We are going to place it on a table and out of the reach of children and animals, to begin to slowly burn the coffee residue, as we would do with incense.
  4. You can even burn the coffee first and then transfer it to a metal object or a can.
  5. Finally, we light the fire and the smoke will spread throughout the area as a good repellent for insects.
