Rosemary is a very popular aromatic plant. It belongs to the Lamiaceae family and grows spontaneously in the Mediterranean basin. Excellent on roasts, it is one of the classic aromas used in cooking . It also goes very well with potatoes and legumes , such as chickpeas. Moreover, it is also a very easy plant to grow . You should always have it on hand, in a corner of the garden or in a jar to keep on the balcony or on the kitchen window sill.
Being very resistant, it does not require much maintenance. As mentioned, a few sprigs of rosemary are used to flavor roasts and meats like baked roast beef. A pinch of needles looks great on baked potatoes. Many therefore use it to flavor salt and oil.
