The stereotype "Pollock is a fish for cats" emerged in the 1980s, when this fish was sold on the shelves for 35 kopecks per kilogram. The cost of fishery products in the Soviet Union was remarkably different from what it is today

Prices have changed negatively, so you have to save money. Under capitalism, pollock ceased to be considered a catfish.

The recipe we're going to tell you about will show that pollock can be deliciously prepared at home.

Ingredients for Baked Pollock:

Fresh frozen pollock – 4 pieces;
Sweet mustard – 4 tbsp.;
Dried herbs – 1 teaspoon;
Vegetable oil – 50 ml;
Boiled tomatoes and potatoes – for serving;
Salt – to taste.
