1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
4 tablespoons butter without salt
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon powdered garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Toss sliced onions with olive oil, and spread them on a baking sheet.
3. Roast onions for 15 minutes until tender and slightly caramelized.
4. Change temperature of oven to 450º F (230º C) and remove the roasted onions.
5. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream, white wine, butter, garlic powder, and cayenne. Cook until butter melts and bubbles form on the cream's edge.
6. Pour the mixture over the roasted onions and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese.
7. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 5-10 minutes until onions caramelize and cheese turns golden.
Serve hot. Enjoy!
