It’s an announcement that everyone was waiting for: that of star host Cyril Hanouna. After the results of the legislative elections, and after his shock declaration of June 12, the latter finally reacted to declare whether or not he would leave France as he had previously stated.

A new political landscape in France
After weeks of political tensions, a dissolution of the assembly, then the organization of new legislative elections after the European elections, the result finally fell on Sunday July 7, 2024: it was ultimately the New Popular Front which won the most seats in the National Assembly. The alliance made up of parties from the traditional left, the far left, but also environmentalists won 178 seats, compared to 156 for Ensemble and 143 for the National Rally and its allies.

From now on, faced with this recomposed political landscape, and while Gabriel Attal has submitted his resignation to the President of the Republic, a new Prime Minister must be chosen. While few people can claim to know what the future will bring, there is one personality, on the other hand, whose statement was eagerly awaited on the subject after these results: Cyril Hanouna.

Cyril Hanouna ready to leave France after the NFP victory?
The one who recently replaced host Sophie Davant on Europe 1 had, on June 12, made a statement that Internet users have not forgotten. While commenting on the remarks of LFI MP Sébastien Delogu on his show Touche Pas à Mon Poste, he subsequently stated, referring to the results of the legislative elections: "LFI in power, I am leaving... It is certain and certain !"

Thus, faced with the results, but also faced with Internet users who were firmly awaiting his reaction, the host of the show On marche sur la tête came out of silence on Sunday July 7, 2024. Is he ready to leave France as he said it a few weeks ago? The answer is no, as he himself confirmed on his X account (formerly Twitter). “Well, darlings, the elections are the opposite of the school of fans, not everyone won, everyone lost! I love you as you are, know that! Everyone!”, he wrote.

Cyril Hanouna: Internet users react to his shock announcement
Faced with this shocking announcement from the C8 host, many Internet users reacted. Some challenged him on the social network to ask him if he was really “supposed to leave”, while others did not hesitate to make fun of the comments he may have made. “As a reminder in the event of victory for LFI and the NFP, Hanouna... Did anyone see their yacht leave French waters?”, wrote one of them. “So, Cyril Hanouna, have you already taken your tickets?”, added another.

Despite the comments made by Cyril Hanouna a few weeks ago on the set of Touche Pas à Mon Poste, it is good to remember that the host is used to making statements that create a buzz. Although he is renowned for his off-road behavior, he still responded to MP Louis Boyard on I'll be there at the start of the school year but you're starting to look for a summer job!! If you want I can hook you up to sell scrunchies on the beach!
