The host expressed her pain.
On June 25, Nicole Courcel died at her home at the age of 84. This great actress was none other than the mother of television presenter Julie Andrieu. Six months after the death of her mother, the gastronomic journalist briefly confides in this loss, which is always trying.
To France Dimanche magazine, Julie, aged 42, explains with emotion that it is too difficult for her to talk about the disappearance of her mother: "It's still too fresh, too painful... I owe it to her to be that who I am today. And it's also thanks to her and my grandmother that I discovered cooking." The presenter of Les Carnets de Julie will not dwell further on this subject, explaining that she is not yet ready.
On the other hand, Julie Andrieu, mother of Hadrien (4 years old) and Gaia (1 year old), says more about her children, whose father is none other than the French neurosurgeon Stéphane Delajoux. Very family-oriented, the sublime forty-year-old confides that she has learned to say no since she became a mother. “I make sure to spend as much time as possible with my children. To teach them respect for others and pass on to them what mom gave me: autonomy, particularly to create and discover,” she explains. Concerning her little daughter, who celebrated her first birthday on December 18, Julie Andrieu confides with humor: “I named her Gaia after the protective goddess of the Earth. She has work to do!”
Perfectly combining professional and private life and putting her children first, Julie Andrieu has one regret. As she confided two months ago to Gala magazine, her mother Nicole Courcel did not really know her grandchildren because of her illness.
