π Ingredients (Makes 8-10 pancakes)
1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 pinch of salt
1 large egg
ΒΎ cup (180 ml) milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
1 tablespoon melted butter or vegetable oil

1. Prepare the Batter
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, beat the egg, then add the milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring gently. Do not overmix!
2. Cook the Pancakes
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.
Pour about ΒΌ cup of batter into the pan.
Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
Repeat with the remaining batter.
