Don’t throw away your cardboard toilet paper roll, you won’t imagine the things you can do with it

Cardboard rolls for sorting cables
Another optimal use of the cardboard roll is to act as a “shuttle” for scattered threads . Simply roll the loose thread around the roll to keep it tidy and well untangled. But for better fixation, you can make a small vertical cut at one end of the roll, through which you can pass the end of the thread and then start to roll . You can then use the same cut (or another) to fix the upper end of the thread as well. This way you will be more than sure that the thread will not come undone.
The uses of the cardboard roll in gardening
If you love gardening, the cardboard toilet paper roll will also be useful in this area. If you spread it on the ground, watering it will allow the water to be retained for longer and the soil to be hydrated for longer. Plants that require the soil to always be well hydrated will grow better and faster. In addition, since the cardboard roll is biodegradable, you will not have to worry about removing it since it will have dissolved in about a year.
Finally, for plants you can also use the roll of sowing paper. It will be enough to make four vertical cuts of the same length. To be as precise as possible you can take a roll of adhesive tape that you will use on a surface as a base, place a marker on top and bring the paper roll close to it. In this way, with the marker fixed by turning the cardboard you will have a precise mark on the entire circumference, useful for delimiting the depth of the cuts.

Once you have made the 4 cuts, fold the four flaps that have been created on themselves, as if to close the roll. Then fill with soil and seeds and water, the seeds will germinate very quickly and, thanks to the composition of the cardboard roll, you can plant the roll itself directly, thus avoiding transplanting the newly born seedlings.
