A final farewell to a faithful companion
Deeply attached to her pet, Sophie Tapie paid a vibrant tribute to him on social media. In an emotional post, she spoke of the difficulty of having to let go of a four-legged companion, but also of the good fortune of having been able to give him a peaceful end.

"We have the opportunity to end the suffering of our four-legged companions and send them off peacefully and with dignity... which is not yet the case in France for human beings who wish to do so. It is always an extremely difficult decision, but we know that this is the best way for her to leave peacefully," she wrote. Adopted after being abandoned, Zazou had overcome her past to offer her family all her love and loyalty. "What an exceptional dog, who began her life with an abandonment in an animal shelter, and who has never held any grudges towards humans. She will be reunited with all her friends and will wait for the day when we are all together again. Have a good trip, my very good dog," added Sophie Tapie in a poignant message.

This loss did not leave Sophie's half-brother, Stéphane Tapie, unmoved. Also touched by Zazou's loss, he wanted to highlight the animal's kindness and gratitude towards her owner. "My Zazou.
