Oh my god, this is so good! I couldn't believe it was made with just one ingredient!

Makes: Servings 1 1/2 cups caramel sauce.
Use one 14-ounce can of sweetened condensed milk as the ingredient.
Directions:
First, without opening the can, remove the label from the sweetened condensed milk. You don't want any floating in your slow cooker, so make sure there are no paper scraps in the box.
2. Place the box on its side at the bottom of the slow cooker. Most slow cookers can accommodate several cans. So don't worry if you're preparing a large batch.

3. Place the cans in the slow cooker and cover them with water. Make sure there's at least 5 cm of water around the edges. This will prevent the cans from exploding due to pressure buildup.
4. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 8 hours. Be careful when removing the box with tongs, as it will be quite hot.
5. Allow the box to cool to room temperature before opening. As it cools, the caramel will thicken to a perfect, spoonable consistency, and that's the magic part.
Once cooled, open the container to reveal your artisanal caramel, a golden jewel that will enhance any dish (or spoon) it touches.
Settings and Tips:
- Reduce the box's cooking time to, for example, 6 hours if you prefer a lighter caramel.
Please note that the contents can be very harmful and cause burns if exploded outside the packaging. Therefore, it's best not to open the box while it's still hot.

By cooking several cans of caramel at once and storing them (unopened) in the pantry, you can prepare a batch in advance.

Once the caramel has cooled, you can add a pinch of sea salt or half a teaspoon of vanilla extract for a vanilla-caramel blend if you want to intensify the flavor.

This pressure cooker meal only takes about 40 minutes to prepare if you're up for the adventure and have a pressure cooker. Refer to your manual for instructions on using your pressure cooker safely.
