Chicken and Cabbage Stir-Fry

In a frying pan or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
Add the garlic and onion, and sauté for 2-3 minutes until lightly browned.
Add the chicken strips and cook until golden brown and cooked through.
Add the grated carrot and Chinese cabbage to the pan. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes, until the cabbage begins to soften.
Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using), and mix well.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
