Dirty light switch, make it like new again: it should be cleaned like this

These go back to the famous advice of grandmothers who, most of the time, with simple ingredients easily found at home, are more effective than commercial cleaning products.

The first method is to clean light switches with a potato. It may seem strange, but this tuber is very effective at making our switches as clean and crisp as if they were new.

This is possible thanks to the presence of potato starch, which tends to eliminate traces of grease that may have been released due to chapped hands or the presence of leftover snacks.

To use it, simply cut it in half and rub it directly against the switches. For the most insidious areas, use a little cotton soaked in potato juice and run it over the switch.

Another method is to use cleansing milk or baking soda, mixing it with water to form a paste that is applied to the switches to make them white and shiny.
