Generously season your fish with an all-purpose seafood seasoning mix.
Bring the pan to medium-high heat, add just enough oil (EVOO) to barely coat the pan, and add a few tablespoons of butter.
Place the fish in the pan and cook until golden brown, about 4 to 5 minutes on one side. Add the sliced lemon, a squeeze of lemon juice, and a teaspoon of capers.
Turn the fish over and cook for another 4 to 5 minutes on the other side, reducing the heat to medium.
We had it with a tomato and arugula salad, so guess what? This makes the whole dish keto-friendly but full of flavor.
