Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Season the pork chops generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Sear the pork chops for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they are well-browned.
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and apple cider vinegar.
Pour the honey garlic mixture over the pork chops in the skillet.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
If you prefer a thicker glaze, remove the pork chops from the skillet and place the skillet over medium heat. Stir in the cornstarch mixture and cook until the glaze thickens.
Serve the pork chops drizzled with the honey garlic glaze from the skillet.
Variations & Tips
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the honey garlic mixture. You can also substitute chicken breasts or thighs for the pork chops if you prefer poultry. For a more citrusy flavor, add a tablespoon of fresh lemon or orange juice to the glaze. If you want to make this dish gluten-free, use tamari or coconut aminos in place of soy sauce.
