Preparation:
1. Apple, celery and cucumber juice:
Put all ingredients (apple, celery, cucumber, lemon) in a juicer or blender.
If using a blender, you can add a little water to get a more fluid juice.
Blend until smooth and pour into a glass. Serve immediately after preparation.
2. Beetroot, carrot and ginger juice:
Wash the beetroot, carrots and ginger thoroughly.
Cut into smaller pieces if necessary, then throw into a juicer or blend in a blender.
Squeeze the juice through a sieve if using a blender to get rid of any remaining pulp.
For a better taste, you can add lemon juice.
3. Orange and chia juice:
Peel the oranges and squeeze the juice.
Add the chia seeds to the fresh juice and leave for a few minutes to let the seeds swell.
If you want, add a pinch of turmeric, which supports heart health and has anti-inflammatory properties.
4. Pomegranate and apple juice:
Juice the pomegranate (you can use a juicer, but you can also extract the juice from the seeds by hand).
Peel the apple, cut it into pieces and blend it with the pomegranate juice.
You can add some honey and lime juice for extra freshness.
5. Pineapple, turmeric and ginger juice:
Peel the pineapple and cut it into pieces.
Grate the ginger or chop it into small pieces.
Put everything in a juicer or blender. Add the turmeric powder.
Pour the juice into a glass and mix. You can add water if the juice is too thick.
Serving and storage tips:
Serving:
Juices are best served immediately after preparation, because fresh juices contain all the valuable vitamins and nutrients. You can decorate them with a slice of lemon, a mint leaf or pieces of fruit for a better look and taste.
Storage:
If you can’t drink the juice right away, store it in a tightly closed bottle in the fridge. Juices are best consumed within 24 hours so that they don’t lose their valuable properties.
Variants:
For people who prefer less sweet juices:
You can reduce the amount of fruit, such as oranges or apples, and instead add more vegetables, such as carrots or celery.
Adding herbs:
You can also add fresh herbs to the juices, such as mint, parsley or basil, which will enhance the taste and provide additional health benefits.
Detox juice:
If you want to add some extra cleansing properties to your juice, you can add a little spirulina, chlorella or flax seeds.
