Make this Potato and Cheese Frittata for a lovely family meal

Preparing the potatoes:
Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices.
Chop the onion and garlic.
To fry the potatoes:

Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the onion and garlic.
Add the potatoes and fry until soft and golden brown.
Season with salt and pepper.
To make the egg mixture:
In a bowl, beat the eggs with the milk or cream.
Season with salt and pepper.
Stir in half of the grated cheese.
To assemble the frittata:

Pour the egg mixture over the potatoes in the pan.
Reduce the heat and cover the pan.
Cook the frittata until the eggs are set.
Sprinkle the remaining grated cheese on top.
To bake the frittata (optional):

If the pan is ovenproof, place the frittata in the oven at 180°C and bake for 5-10 minutes until the cheese has melted and is golden brown.
If the pan is not ovenproof, turn on the grill function in the oven and melt the cheese.
Serving:
Serve the frittata warm, sprinkled with fresh parsley.
