REVENUE OF PORC ADOBO

Place the pig breast in a saucepan. Add the soy sauce, vinegar, water, pepper, laurel leaves, brown sugar and onions. Bring to boil over high heat.
Cover the saucepan with the lid and lower the heat to the soft. Let it cook for about an hour or until the meat is really tender and the liquid is halved. Separate the meat from the sauce.
In a frying pan, heat the oil over medium-low heat and add the sliced garlic. Cook the garlic until it is golden. Remove some of the garlic from the oil leaving about 1/2 in the frying pan and transfer the rest into a small bowl.
Put the meat back in the frying pan and cook for a minute or two. Add the sauce again and let it simmer for a few minutes until the sauce is still slightly reduced and becomes thicker.
Transfer the Adobo pork to a serving dish and fill it with golden garlic. Serve with hot, smoking rice.
