Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.

Roll out both sheets of puff pastry to even thickness if needed.

Place one sheet on the baking sheet.

Spread cheese (and any extras) evenly over the surface, leaving a 1/2-inch border.

Top with the second sheet and press down gently to seal.

Use a cup or bowl to mark the center (don’t cut), then slice outward from the cup to the edge to create "rays" — 16 to 20 slices is ideal.

Twist each strip 2–3 times, alternating direction for a fun look.

Brush with egg wash, sprinkle with sesame seeds or herbs.

Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and puffed.

Serve warm with a dipping sauce in the center!
