Pour in one liter of water and heat while stirring until the soap is completely melted, giving the mixture a slightly thickened consistency.
Let it cool for 3 hours, then blend the mixture. At this point, it will have taken on a creamy texture. Transfer the mixture to the saucepan, add 50 ml of vinegar and the remaining 1.5 liters of water. Mix well with a wooden spoon.
If desired, add a touch of food coloring to give your fabric softener a pleasant shade (this is optional). Then pour the mixture into a bottle.

Tip from Monika M.: Also add this fabric softener to your floor wash water to scent your entire home. Recipe 2: Homemade Fabric Softener with Scented Oils Ingredients:
250 ml water
250 ml vinegar
10 drops of scented oil
Instructions:
Mix the vinegar and water, then add the scented oil.
Stir well until all ingredients are fully combined. Stir again before adding this fabric softener to your laundry. Use about 2 tablespoons per load.
Alternative Recipe:
If you don't have scented oil, substitute conditioner. In this case, use 6 parts water, 3 parts vinegar, and 3 parts conditioner.
