Philly Cheesesteak Meatloaf

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan or line with parchment.

Sauté diced onions and peppers in a little oil until softened (about 5 minutes). Let cool slightly.

Mix ground meat, eggs, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire, garlic powder, sautéed veggies, salt, and pepper in a bowl.

Gently fold in shredded cheese. (Don’t overmix the meat or it can get tough.)

Shape into a loaf in the prepared pan.

Bake uncovered for about 45–55 minutes, or until internal temp reaches 160°F (71°C).

In the last 5 minutes, top with extra cheese and return to oven until melted and bubbly.

Rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing.

Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, or in a hoagie roll for a meatloaf sandwich!

Drizzle with a bit of mayo or cheese sauce for an authentic Philly touch.
