Preparation
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
On a lightly floured surface, stack pie crusts and roll into a 12×17-inch rectangle.
Place the crust into a 10×15-inch jelly roll pan, pressing into corners. Fold any overhang so the crust is even with the edge of the pan.
In a large bowl, mix brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add sliced apples and toss to coat. Spread apples evenly across the crust.
In a separate bowl, prepare the crumb topping: stir together flour, sugar, and oats. Cut in the butter using a pastry blender or two knives until mixture is crumbly.
Sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the apples.
Bake for 35–38 minutes or until the crust and topping are golden brown.
Let cool on a wire rack for 30 minutes before serving.
