Beef Roulades

Flatten the beef roulades so they're easy to roll later. Then generously brush with mustard and season with salt and pepper for a real kick.

Cut the bacon, onion, and pickles into thin strips. Distribute these ingredients on the roulades so they'll look their best when slicing them.

Now carefully roll up the roulades and secure them with toothpicks to keep them in shape.

Heat some oil in a large roasting pan or pot. Sear the roulades all over until they're nicely browned.

Now add the beef broth and let the roulades simmer gently over medium heat for about 1.5 hours. This will make them extra tender.

After cooking, carefully remove the roulades. Thicken the sauce slightly if desired and serve immediately – best with potatoes or red cabbage. Enjoy!
