I have been making elderflower lemonade for several years and we love it. But I had never made elderflower lemonade with rose petals before! So as soon as the roses bloomed, I started making it right away, following a recommendation from a blog reader, whom I would like to thank!
The aroma of elderflowers combines perfectly with the intoxicating aroma of Rosa Damascena roses, popularly known as “marmalade roses”. The result is an elderflower lemonade with an incredible aroma and a very light pink color.
Below are the quantities I used, but you don’t necessarily have to stick to them. It’s best to adjust the quantities to your taste. You can use honey instead of sugar.
I also recommend elderflower lemonade, elderflower syrup, elderflower lemonade, rose petal lemonade or rose lemonade. More elderflower recipes can be found here. More rose recipes can be found here.
