Ingredients (for 2 cups)
2-3 stalks fresh lemongrass
500 ml water
Optional: honey, ginger, lime juice, or mint
🧑🍳 Preparation
Prepare the lemongrass:
Remove the outer, dry leaves. Lightly press the lower white part of the stems with the back of a knife to help release the essential oils. Then chop into large pieces.
Boil water:
Bring water to a boil in a saucepan.
Steep lemongrass:
Add the lemongrass to the boiling water, reduce heat, and simmer gently with the lid on for about 10 minutes.
Strain and serve:
