Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Divide beef into 8 portions; flatten each and place cheddar cheese in the center.
Fold beef around cheese to form balls.
Wrap each ball with a slice of bacon and secure with toothpicks.
Place on a baking sheet, brush with BBQ sauce, and bake 25–30 minutes until bacon is crispy and beef is cooked through.
