No-Bake Salted Caramel Cookies

Salted Caramel Sauce Recipe
Preparation time:
Prep: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 10-15 minutes

Ingredients (for approx. 250 ml sauce):
200 g sugar (fine, e.g., table sugar)

90 g butter (unsalted, in pieces)

120 ml cream (at least 30% fat, room temperature)

1 tsp sea salt or fleur de sel (to taste)

Preparation:
Caramelize the sugar
Place the sugar in a medium-sized saucepan (preferably heavy-bottomed).
Heat over medium heat without stirring.
If the sugar starts to melt around the edges, you can gently help it melt with a wooden spoon or by swirling it around the pan.

Add the butter
Once the sugar is completely melted and golden brown, add the butter.

Preparation:
Caramelize the sugar
Place the sugar in a medium-sized saucepan (preferably heavy-bottomed).

Heat over medium heat without stirring.
