Step-by-Step Cleaning Guide
Step 1: Prepare Your Cleaning Solution
In a spray bottle or bowl, mix 2 cups (473 mL) of white vinegar with 2 cups (473 mL) of water to create a 1:1 solution.
If using a spray bottle, shake gently to combine. Set aside.
Step 2: Wipe Down the Exterior
Dampen a microfiber cloth with the vinegar solution (about 2–3 tablespoons/30–45 mL if dipping from a bowl).
Wipe the machine’s front, sides, top, and control panel, focusing on knobs, buttons, and crevices where grime collects.
Use a dry microfiber cloth to remove excess moisture and prevent streaks.
Step 3: Clean the Detergent Drawer
Remove the detergent drawer (consult your manual if it’s not obvious how to release it).
Dip the toothbrush in the vinegar solution (about 1 tablespoon/15 mL) and scrub all compartments to remove soap residue and buildup.
Rinse thoroughly under hot running water for 1–2 minutes, then dry with a microfiber cloth.
Step 4: Clean the Door Seal
Gently pull back the rubber door seal to expose hidden areas.
Soak a microfiber cloth in the vinegar solution (about 3–4 tablespoons/45–60 mL) and wipe the seal thoroughly, targeting mold, debris, or mildew.
